Squib Wires

An automotive airbag deploys when certain conditions are met as determined by the airbag control unit, usually located near the center of the vehicle.
The wiring from the control unit that is attached to a gas generator contained within the airbag is called the squib circuit, comprised a complex path of wires through various connectors, the clock spring in the steering wheel (for the driver airbag) and an airbag sensor.
